Our Seminar gives participants the skills they need to
start saving and investing today!
 
The CABEL Foundation is pleased to announce that registration for our Financial Literacy Seminar is underway.  CABEL, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, helps youth and adults learn to invest in their future, set higher goals for themselves and gain the necessary financial know-how to enable them to promote social change and improve their communities.
 

WHO: Youth & Adults

                                               

WHAT:  Financial Literacy Seminar helps youth & adults realize the importance of saving & investing. 

            Basic Financial Literacy (2-hour seminar) The topics include:

            ·        Federal Reserve Banking System
            ·        International Currency
            ·        Fundamentals of Credit
            ·        How the Stock Market Works
            ·        How to manage your checking/saving accounts

*Registration fee includes the cost of class materials, and you receive $29 back for opening your investment account, along with four presidential dollars (Choose one of three options):
 

$25 for Series E Bond
$25 to purchase one stock under $5
$25 to open a checking/saving account or to be deposited in an existing account
 

Online Registration Fee: Basic Financial Literacy Seminar* (2-hour): $150

On Site Registration Fee: $200

Participants who complete the seminar will receive a financial literacy certificate.
