CABEL’s goals for the next three years are to conduct:
- Our youth Financial Literacy programs in District schools as well as housing and/or recreation centers in each ward
- Youth
and adult Financial Literacy work shops in at least one District Public Library in each ward
- Youth Financial
Literacy Fitness Summer Program in each ward
- Seminars and one-on-one instruction for the adult and youth incarcerated
population prior to their transition into the community
- Seminars, work shops and one-on-one instruction for youth
transitioning out of foster care
As we expand our programs and presence throughout the District and the surrounding metro area, we will need the assistance,
dedication and commitment of our volunteers. We are always looking for volunteers for the following
positions:
Instructors
Mentors
Outreach
Staff
Administrative Staff
Fund Raising
Our programs are year-round and the positions have flexible hours. We believe your experience
working with us as a volunteer will be a rewarding one, one that will allow you to help youth and families make the choices
and commitment that will help them save and invest in their futures. Without the dedication, expertise, support and
talent of volunteers, many non-profits would not be able to provide the qualities services to the many people they serve
-- including the CABEL Foundation, Inc.
Please call Ervin C. Owens at (202) 341-0667 or email info@cabelfoundation.org. Please indicate VOLUNTEER in the subject line. We look forward
to hearing from you!
